Message: Seventy-two years ago, March 14, 1934, I was born to Florence Marks Krom and George (Gregory) Krom. Not only am I alive and doing very well, but my mother is also alive and will be 99 years old in July. We lived in Negaunee on Jackson Street, above a mine. I want to thank those nurses and doctors who delivered me and took such good care of me. I am a nurse and a Marriage & Family Therapist. You can be proud!

Message: I had my tonsils out 50 years ago at F.A. Bell Memorial Hospital. I am happy to see a photo of Francis Bell on this website and hope we, as a community, never lose site of his efforts and efforts of others. It is great to know that the health care of the Ishpeming and West Marquette County residents is still high in priority. I look forward to watching the new hospital become a reality as the services it offers impacts our communities.
